ELBERTON – Lucy Peppers, 94, formerly of Bethlehem, died Thursday, February 19, 2009.
Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Irene Tolbert, and was a member of Chapel Christian Church. Mrs. Peppers was preceded in death by her husband, Otis W. "Ode" Peppers.
Survivors include nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 21, at 2 p.m., at Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Wright officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
