DANIELSVILLE – Samuel Aubrey Carrington, 90, died Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens.
Born in Madison County on July 11, 1918, he was the son of the late Hollis and Myrtie Huff Carrington and was preceded in death by his wife, Drue W. Daniel Carrington; and a sister, Sybil Kidd.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Gwen and Wade Carey, Danielsville; grandson and wife, Brannon and Jenny Claire Carey, Royston; and a brother, Dalton Carrington, Comer.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, 3:30 p.m., at the Bethel M. Baptist Church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, is in charge of arrangements.
