ROYSTON – Julian E. “Junior” Fowler, 79, died Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at St. Mary’s Hospice House in Bogart.
Born on January 26, 1930, in Franklin County, he was the son of the late Toy Fowler and Bessie Ruth Adams. He was a mechanic in the textile industry and was Baptist. Mr. Fowler was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Sanders; and brother, Leo Fowler.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Fowler, Royston; sons, Eddie Fowler, Carnesville, and Wayne Fowler, Canon; daughters, Sandra Bond and Elizabeth Williamson, both of Royston; brother, Garnett Fowler, Royston; sister, Sylvia Jean Jordan, Royston; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, February 19, in the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Andy Bond officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
