COMMERCE – Emma Mae Gerberg, 82, died Friday, February 13, 2009, at her daughter’s residence.
Born in Missouri on January 8, 1927, she was the daughter of Dorothy Hammer. She was the oldest of three sisters, and was preceded in death by her husband Dean; sons, Larry and Jerry; a daughter, Deana Rule; and a sister, Charlotte Harris.
Survivors include children, Tom (Marla), Dorethea (Denny), Park (Gigi), Dale (Tim), Elisha, Terry (Andrea), Jeremy, and Kevin; sister, Helen Comer; 24 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Final Committal Service will be held in Mississippi at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
Wages & Sons, Stone Mountain Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
