WINDER – Frankie Cooker, 89, died Monday, February 16, 2009.
Born in Lakeland, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Elmer Hemrick and Sarah Frances Harden. She was raised in Lakeland, Fla., by her mother and stepfather, Sarah and Charles Harden. She was a member of the Statham First Methodist Church. Mrs. Coker was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Coker; and a sister, Rilma Lalonde.
Survivors include grandchildren, Tracy Kiley, Winder, and Tammy Morgan, Aiken, S.C.; great-grandchildren, Weston and Karri Kiley, Winder, Karley Morgan, Aiken, S.C.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 18, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with John Talley officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
