Pasquino John “Pat” Barsanti, 94, of Lula, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, of natural causes at his residence.
Born in Calumet, Mich., he was the son of the late Alfredo and Assunta Massei Barsanti. He attended St. Michaels’ Catholic Church in Gainesville and his employment consisted of farmer, baker and municipal worker. Mr. Barsanti was preceded in death by his wife, Gina Ann Ghiloni; brothers, Ed and Joe Barsanti; and a sister, Lena Lencioni. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking, according to loved ones.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Norine and Dwight Worley, Lula; son and daughter-in-law, Michael Barsanti and Anne Mapplebeck, Sharon, Vt.; sister, Josephine Ferri, Naperville, Ill.; grandson, Nate Barsanti, Sharon, Vt.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be were held Saturday, June 14, at 10 a.m., in the chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Living Mission UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 13.
