Buck Bruce

LULA – Buck Bruce, 43, died Monday, February 16, 2009, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Born in Hall County on September 21, 1965, he was the son of Susie Armour Bruce of Lula and the late Jimmy Bruce. He was a car dealer for 25 plus years and was a member of Lula Worship Center. Two of his favorite hobbies were riding his Harley Davidson and spending time with his family, especially his three grandchildren. Mr. Bruce was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Robinson Bruce.

Survivors in addition to his mother, include a daughter and son-in-law, Kayla and Josh Lee, Lula; sister and brother-in-law, Opal and Randy Gilleland, Lula; brother, Darren Bruce, Lula; grandchildren, Dylan Lee, Cody Lee and Landen Lee; two nephews; two nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 19, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., and on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
