Thomas Moore

COLBERT – Thomas Elvin Moore, 60, died Thursday, February 12, 2009.

A native of Clarke County, he was the son of Olious “Buddy” and the late Mary Ibra Cannon Moore. He was self employed and was a United States Army Veteran of Vietnam.

Survivors in addition to his father, include his wife, Pansy Dudley Moore; stepchildren, Mark Cowart, Crystal Roberts, Marie Cowart and Amanda Cowart; brother, Marion Moore; sisters, Diane Slaton, Jane McCurley; grandchildren, Katie, Shyenne, Levi, Hunter, Matthew, Colton, Andrew and Shandi.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 16, at Community Baptist Church with the Rev. Kent Barrett officiating. Burial was in the Danielsville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Travis Moore, Chad Moore, Scott Slaton, Bobby Harris, Michael Gay, Alan Slaton, Derek Shelton, and Michael Moore.

Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.
