COMMERCE – Jeanette Green Teasley, 68, died Thursday, February 12, 2009, at St. Mary’s Hospice House.
Born in Marion County, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Troy Lee and Maxcine Byrd Green. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Commerce, and was employed at Baker and Taylor for more than 25 years. Mrs. Teasley was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby O. Teasley.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Bill Calhoun, Dacula; son, Barry Teasley, Bethel, Ohio; brother, Gerald Green, Dunnellon, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 14, at 2 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church of Commerce with David Bowen officiating. Burial will be in the Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
