‘Pete’ Fauber, Jr.

COMER - Malcolm L. "Pete" Fauber, Jr., 70, died Saturday, February 7, 2009.

Born on December 3, 1938, he was the son of the late Malcolm Fauber Sr. and Edna Fauber. He was employed with the Athens Banner Herald News in the press department for 44 years. Mr. Fauber was preceded in death by daughters, Vickie Taylor and Nell Kennison; and granddaughter, Lindsey Kennison.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Sue C. Fauber; a son; Malcolm Fauber III; and daughter, Beth Ann Autry; brothers; Tom Fauber, Richard Fauber, and Jim Fauber; sisters, Carlos Butta, Betty Walsh, Norma Stevens, Jane Arbaugh and Peggy Garrod; grandchildren, Timmy Huff, Jackie Huff, Missy Autry, Michelle Autry and Matt Kennison; and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 14, at 3 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glen Guest officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, Feb. 11, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
