WINDER – Katie G. Bolton, 66, died Sunday, February 8, 2009.
Born in Jefferson, she was the daughter of the late Pleze and Mozelle Thigpin Sammons.
Survivors include her husband, Allen Bolton, Winder; daughters, Kathy B. Davis, Danielsville, and Suzanne McGraw, Lawrenceville; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Arland Dye, Hull, Wayne Dye, Texas; sisters, Naomi Fortson, Hull, Shirley Armour, Washington, and Marion Nix, Winterville.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 11, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with the Revs. R.C. Parten and Kent Barrett officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
