JEFFERSON – Paul Edgar Christian, 68, died Friday, February 6, 2009, at St. Mary’s Hospital, in Athens.
He was born in Madison County, the son of the late Cornell and Emma Landers Christian. He was retired from ABB as a welder and was a United States Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Jane Wilson Christian, Jefferson; sons, Dean Christian, Nicholson, and Dennis Christian, Statham; brother, Larry Christian, Hartwell; sister, Brenda Smith, Comer; and grandson, Dylan Dean Christian.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 9, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral home with the Rev. Don Nester officiating. Burial will be at Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
