COMMERCE – Danny Wayne Tolliver, 60, died Tuesday, February 3, 2009, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Born in Letcher County, Ky., he was the son of the late Paul Reuben and Irene Polly Tolliver. He was an employee of Dalton Carpet One in Gainesville, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Eunice Parker Tolliver, Commerce; and a daughter, Gina Rae Yeargin, Hart County.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 6, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Wynn officiating. Burial will be in the Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.

My heart goes out to my Father's family. It is with sincere sadness that my Father and I will not have the chance to reconcile. God put us on separate paths, yet I forgive him for not being a part of my life. I will pray for Eunice and Gina and that perhaps we may one day have a chance to talk. I would love the opportunity to know what kind of person Danny was. What I do remember is that he and my Uncle Jack were in business together in the 70s laying carpet. Eunice, I have very vague memories of you.
