PENDERGRASS – Ronald Phillip Rainwater, 67, died Tuesday, February 3, 2009.
Born in Atlanta, he was the son of the late Minor and Corrie Lewis Rainwater. He was a painter, and was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Rainwater was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Mathis Rainwater.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle Massey, Commerce, Susie and Jon Jackson, Dahlonega, Carmen and Currie Dalton, Jefferson; sons, Ronnie Rainwater, Braselton, and Gary Rainwater, Gainesville; grandchildren, Ashley Rainwater, Tiffany Rainwater and McKayla Rainwater, all of Braselton, Zackery Massey and Matthew Massey, both of Commerce, Cameron Dalton and Ciley Dalton, both of Jefferson, Constance Jackson, Siera Jackson, Jacoby Jackson, Sydney Jackson and Jayden Jackson, all of Dahlonega; and sisters, Ollie Mae Boyd, Pendergrass, and Helen Patton, Oakwood.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 5, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. David Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Pendergrass Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12 until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
