STATHAM - Mary “Pat” Holliday, 66, died Saturday, January 31, 2009.
Born in Clarke County, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Mary O. Conner Rowe. She was preceded in death by siblings, Daphne Rowe and Stan Savage. A member of Union Baptist Church, she had been employed as a paraprofessional with Bethlehem Elementary School. She also worked in the medical records and activity department at Russell Nursing Home, now Winder Health Care, and as activities director at Magnolia Estates.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby J. Holliday, Statham; sons and daughters-in-law, B.J. and Teresa Holliday, Douglas, and Russell and Michele Holliday, Dacula; grandchildren, Katie Holliday, Jonathon Holliday, Connor Holliday and Ryan Holliday; brothers, Bill Savage, Gastonia, N.C., Danny Savage, Gautier, Miss.; and stepbrother, Junior Savage, Statham.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 4, at 2 p.m. from Union Baptist Church, with the Revs. Rudy Camp, Tim McDonald and Gerald Purvis officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
