HOSCHTON – Pauline M. Everett, 96, died Saturday, January 31, 2009.
Born in Gwinnett County, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Lillie Mae Ramey Montgomery. She was the oldest living member of Sharon Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Everett was preceded in death by her husband, Grover C. Everett; and a son, Bill Everett.
Survivors include daughters, Christine Greenwood, Hoschton, and Mary Head, Jefferson; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Driggers, Charleston, S.C., Doris Snell, Mansfield, and Avis Pendley, Social Circle.
Funeral services were held Monday, February 2, in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Revs. Marion Prather, Le Gibson and Pastor Patsy Garrett officiating. Burial was in Alcova Baptist Church cemetery.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
