LAWRENCEVILLE – Tommy Love, 60, died Tuesday, January 27, 2009.
He was the son of Barney and Gladys Love. He was a member of the Tabernacle Church in Lawrenceville, was a Vietnam Veteran, and worked for Wal-Mart as a cart attendant and people greeter for seven years at the Sugarloaf and Snellville stores. He loved fishing and collecting cars, coins, coke and Georgia bulldogs memorabilia, and his grandchildren were his life, loved ones stated. Mr. Love was preceded in death by a brother, David Love.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Love, Lawrenceville; children, Angel and Shawn Cummings, Lawrenceville, Melodie and Shawn Otteson, Monroe; sister and brother-in-law, Lynda and Grover Wood, Danielsville; grandchildren, Abbey, Savannah, Ian and Avery Otteson; and a large extended family.
Memorial services were held Friday, January 30, in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Minister Ben Elbe officiating.
Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, was in charge of arrangements.
