MAYSVILLE – Frank Michael Cronic, 65, died Thursday, January 22, 2009.
A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Clyde Cronic Sr. and Hester Greeson Cronic. He was a retired law enforcement officer, owner of Tri County Security, and a member of Unity Christian Church. Mr. Cronic was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde Cronic Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Treva Burrell Cronic, Maysville; daughters, Tammy J. Price, Ellabell, Teresa Gibbs, Maysville; step-daughter, Teresa Simonds, Maysville; sisters, Grace Autry and Joyce Lott, both of Gainesville; brothers, George Cronic, Hull, John Cronic, Clermont; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 25, at 3 p.m., at Unity Christian Church in Maysville with Ministers Mike Thompson and Dennis Harris officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state from 2:30 until 3 p.m. on Sunday at the church. Serving as pallbearers will be Doug Simonds, Michael Simonds, Ricky Gibbs, Cody Gibbs, Bruce Price and Blake Price.
Flowers are optional and donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Georgia, 2951 Flowers Rd., Suite 211, Atlanta, Ga. 30341.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 1 until 3 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
