Margaret Epps

ACWORTH – Margaret L. Epps, 74, died Friday, January 16, 2009, at Cartersville Heartland Hospice.

Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Clara Veals Jacks. She was a member of Hill Crest Baptist Church in Acworth and was a retired waitress. Mrs. Epps was preceded in death by her husband, George C. Epps; and a son, George Michael Epps.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Susan Epps, Acworth; sisters, Reba Warr, Ocala, Fla., and Wilma Moore, Nicholson; granddaughters, Ashley Barksdale, Michelle Epps and Margie Epps, all of Acworth.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 20, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral home with the Rev. Paul Vance officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
