COMMERCE – Jack “Buster” W. Strickland, 81, died Saturday, January 17, 2009, at his residence.
Survivors include daughters, Rose Marie Rozier, Blackshear, Mary Lynn Nix, Nicholson, and Jackie E. Walker Jenkins, Commerce; a son, Larry A. Strickland, Commerce; sisters, Yvonne Farley and Maxine Strickland, both of Blackshear; five grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 23, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Pearson-Treadwell Funeral Home in Blackshear. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 20, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Ivie Funeral Home and on Thursday, January 22, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home in Blackshear.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
