LARGO, FLA. - Emily Oldrid, 94, died Tuesday, January 6, 2009, following a long battle with COPD.
Born in North Easton, Mass. On March 16, 1915, she moved to Bethlehem in 1996. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Winder, and was a seamstress. Mrs. Oldrid was preceded in death by her husband, George Oldrid; and son-in-law, Rodney Williams.
Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Beverly and Buddy Farinha, Largo, Fla., and Susan Williams, Bethlehem; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 24 at 10 a.m. at St Matthew Catholic Church, Winder, followed by a reception in Hodges Hall. There will be a chapel service on July 17, 2009, at Newport Memorial Park, R.I. She will be buried along side her husband following the service.
