Otis H. McNeal, 80, of Braselton, died Saturday, June 7, 2008.
He was born in Jackson County, and was the son of the late Rev. Jack McNeal and Bessie Henderson McNeal. He was a member of Walnut Fork Baptist Church and was a retired sales manager with Gold Kist Pork. He was the owner of Mac’s Garage.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Isabell Holland McNeal, Braselton; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Rick Rogers, Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Buddy and Cheryl McNeal, Bradley, S.C.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 9, in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Ricky Thrasher officiating. Burial was in Walnut Fork Baptist Church cemetery. Honored as pallbearers were T.L. Gordon, Hugh Gordon, John Boone, Larry Stancil, Larry Beck, Chip McEver. Honored as honorary pallbearers were Lloyd McEver, Robert McEver, Wylie McEver, Joe Kinney, Donald Sorrells, Bill Cook, Dub Davis, Rick Murphy, Ray Gunter, Pat Graham and Arlen Berryman.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, was in charge of arrangements.
