LUMBERTON, N.C. – Lucille Jordan Saxon, 90, born in Commerce, died Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation in Elizabethtown, N.C.
Survivors include a son, Johnny Saxon, Lumberton, N.C.; daughters, Carolyn Vendrick, Lumberton, N.C., Claudette Ray, Nakina, Janiece Radcliff, Coconut Creek, Fla., and Mary Ann Butler, White Oak; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Local arrangements included a visitation at Ivie Funeral Home on Friday, January 9, with a service on Saturday, January 10 in the funeral home chapel. Burial was in Grey Hill Cemetery.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
