Ruth Hardin

Ruth Hardin, 73, of Bogart, died Friday, May 9, 2008.

A native of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Jackson and Alma Ophelia Stephens Dailey.

Survivors include her husband, Will Hardin, Bogart; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and JoAnn Parr, Bogart; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Henry Thompson, Athens; sisters, Josephine Jones, Statham, and Pat Mize, Commerce; brother, Ted Dailey, Jefferson; grandchildren, Brandon Archer, Athens, Amy Welch, Commerce, Misty Edwards, Westminster, S.C., Kenya Lynch, Laurens, S.C., and Chad Parr, Bogart; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 12, in the chapel of Bridges Funeral home with the Rev. Larry Davidson officiating. Burial was in Oconee Memorial Park.

Bridges Funeral Home, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
